SAFETY PROFILE：

Poison by ingestion, intraperitoneal, subcutaneous, intravenous, and parenteral routes. An anthelmintic. When heated to decomposition it emits very toxic fumes of I⁻ and NO_x. See also NITRO COMPOUNDS of AROMATIC HYDROCARBONS.
