Poison by ingestion. Moderately toxic by skin contact. A skin and severe eye irritant. A very dangerous fire hazard when exposed to heat or flame; can react vigorously with oxidizing materials. Keep away from heat and open flame. To fight fire, use dry chemical, CO₂, foam. When heated to decomposition it emits toxic fumes of NO_x. See also AMINES.
